Stop reading?
What?
Look, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to expand your knowledge base, and the moment you think you know it all and have nothing more to learn, you hinder yourself from ever reaching your true potential.
With that being said, many of us take the whole “learning” thing way too far, and spend so much time reading information on training and nutrition – the majority of which conflicts itself from one week to the next – that we develop what’s commonly referred to as analysis paralysis.
In other words, we overload our brains with so many ways to perform a specific task that we don’t even know where to start.
This is a problem because reading won’t make you bigger, stronger, or faster. Achieving any performance or physique related goal is dependent upon your ability to put what you read in to ACTION, and you won’t be able to do that with your face glued to a computer.
This doesn’t mean you should stop reading altogether, as knowledge and experience goes hand in hand.
But, a piece of paper is no substitute for experience.
And the moment you start placing more emphasis on DOING instead of reading – and not the other way around – your results will absolutely skyrocket.
